Newletter - What's Occurring
360 Fitness, Health & Wellbeing | JAN 31
Hi everyone,
Happy weekend! I hope you’re enjoying whatever you’re up to.
I wanted to send a quick update to share what’s been happening and what’s coming up at 360 Fitness.
Timetable Update – We’re Fully Back!
The last few weeks have been frustrating with room issues on some Wednesdays and Thursdays, so thank you for your patience. The good news is the timetable is now back up and running in full.
You now have 9 different classes and 15 sessions per week to choose from — from just £6 per class with your 10-class pass.
Here’s what’s on offer:
Assassin – Cardio combat (NEW)
Clubbercise – Dance fitness / aerobics (NEW)
Rockbox – Cardio boxing
L1FT – Functional strength training (NEW)
Pilates – Core strength & control
Purestretch – Flexibility, core & pelvic floor
Kinisi Flow – Mindful movement
Fit4Life – Active seniors & beginners
Purestretch Chair – Gentle chair-based movement
Kinisi Flow is now included in class packages so more of you can experience this incredible programme. It’s one of the best I’ve ever taught or taken part in for building strength, mobility, core stability and whole-body resilience.
Assassin is our brand new cardio combat class with amazing music and powerful moves. It’s challenging, but there are plenty of level options — a fantastic way to boost your fitness.
Clubbercise now runs on both Monday and Thursday evenings, giving you two chances to glow! Exercising in a darkened room makes it a great option if you feel self-conscious — just come and move.
L1FT launches this Friday morning. This class focuses on functional lifting, particularly for women. With women now living many years beyond menopause, strength training is essential for long-term muscle and bone health.
Rockbox - From Monday 9th Feb Rockbox will be replaced by L1FT
FITJAM
It’s hard to believe a week has already passed since FitJam at Alton Towers. This event is a fitness experience like no other — from “Sassy Chair” to “Silent Disco,” “Soundbath” to “Burn and Bass.”
Eight of us attended and had an amazing time. The community spirit — with each other and instructors from all over the country — is something really special.
I had the privilege of shadow instructing Kinisi Flow with Michael and Natalie (the creators) and appearing on the main stage on Friday and Saturday with the Assassin creators Ashleigh and Nicola. Definitely out of my comfort zone, but I’m so glad I did it!
There was very little sleep… Friday night turned into a room gathering, and Saturday we had a pyjama party disco. Our theme: Bananas in Pyjamas — practical and comfortable!
We’ve secured three rooms for next year (Jan 22–24). All 12 spaces are now filled, with one person on reserve. If you’d like to join the reserve list, please let me know.
I’ll also be looking at other fitness events over the coming months if anyone is interested.
Adore Your Pelvic Floor
Our new cohort started today. After a few tech hiccups, we got everyone onto Zoom and had a great first session. There’s a lot of information to absorb, but everyone left with tools to feel more empowered on their pelvic health journey.
Active Champions
For several years, 360 Fitness has worked alongside Active Together in the Let’s Get Moving campaign. Each year we recognise an Active Champion.
2024 – Becky McCallister
Becky lives with fibromyalgia, is an ambulatory wheelchair user, and runs Chronically Melton, a support group for people with long-term pain and chronic illness such as Fibromyalgia and ME. She attends Purestretch to help maintain strength, mobility and manage symptoms.
2025 – Maisie Lucas
Our most senior participant at 93. Maisie lives independently, drives, and believes in always trying your best and never giving up. She has attended Purestretch Chair since the very first class.
2026 – Penny Morris
Penny is living with Grade 4 breast cancer and undergoing regular chemotherapy. At last week’s Let’s Get Melton Moving awards, Penny won “Moving for Health.” She runs regularly and attends Purestretch and Kinisi Flow to maintain strength and support her mental wellbeing.
Our Community
I’d like to say a big thank you to our long-term regulars for being so welcoming and supportive to those joining classes for the first time. Your friendliness and willingness to help others settle in does not go unnoticed — the community spirit you create is what makes these classes so special.
To everyone who is new — I hope you’re starting to feel at home. Please never hesitate to ask questions, whether it’s about exercises, options, or anything else. That’s exactly what I’m here for.
All classes are judgement-free, pressure-free and completely clique-free. Everyone is welcome, everybody is different, and that’s something we celebrate.
We’re also proud to be a mental health friendly club, and I regularly take part in training to ensure classes remain a supportive and understanding space for all. Training is also available to all participants if they want to improve their knowledge of mental health.
Thanks again for supporting a small business, when you support a small business you support a dream (and help pay my mortgage & feed and clothe my kids 🤣)
See you all soon
Xx Laura
